Indian Idol Finalists keeps Kolkatta on the edge of the seat


Kolkata,September 16: Well, Indian Idol fan or not, if you don’t know who Prashant Tamang and Amit Paul are, then you are surely missing out on something.
The last two contenders for the title of Indian Idol were in Kolkota on Saturday night for the very last performance of the show.
The road to the finals has been anything but easy for the two and this very last concert had enough energy, excitement and buzz to shake the very foundations of Kolkota.
Host Mini Mathur made sure she got the crowd in the right mood as she pumped up the tempo and got things officially underway.
Flanked by screaming fans and cheerleaders, the pair made their way onto the stage and did a very special performance of the song Yahaan Ke Hum Sikandar from the film Jo Jeeta Vo Hi Sikandar.

Finally singer Usha Uthup joined the pair on stage and the trio performed glorious songs like Sayonee and Hari om hari with the audience singing along.
With posters flying and fans left screaming for more, the curtain fell on the last performance of Indian Idol. The final voting has begun and in just a little while the lines will close, and shortly after, India will have its next Indian idol
