Gangtok: Prashant Tamang, the heartthrob of millions has been receiving ceaseless support from all parts of the world…whether big towns or smaller villages of Sikkim…everyone is doing their best to make him the next Indian Idol. One such effort was made by the Sikkim Buildings Department Minister P.S.Tamang who flew to Kolkatta to catch a glimpse of live performance of Prashant Tamang and Amit Paul on last Saturday where he joined Captain,India Football team Baichung Bhutia to express their open support for Prashant from Sikkim and its people.
Meanwhile, in Gangtok ,The fund collection of Central Monitoring teams reached at Rs.10 Lakhs. however,There were apprehensions at hush hush level about the use of funds collected by a committee in some quarters.
Namchi reported to be having a close to free 50 telephone booths and Jorethang More than 30 but number of free telephone booths provided by committee at Titanic Park as per views expressed by many people is not up to the expectations and at the level which funds have been garnered.
