Sikkim Chief Minister Meets Union Minister for Home Affairs


Gangtok: The Chief Minister of Sikkim Shri Pawan Kumar Chamling met the Union Minister for Home Affairs Shri Shivraj Patil in New Delhi on August31, 2007 and apprised him about the Sikkim and also sought an early decision on seat reservations for Limboo and Tamang communities in state as well as clearance of all pending proposals of Sikkim before Union Government.

Union Minister for Home Affairs Shri Shivraj Patil has assured an early examination of all pending proposals for Sikkim.

Chief Minister were accompanied by Tourism Minister R.B. Subba, Loksabha MP Shri Nakuldas Rai,Rajya Sabha MP O.T.Lepcha ,Principle Secretary to CM & Sikkim Resident Commissioner in New Delhi.
