SEVEN SERIOUSLY INJURED IN A SUMO ACCIDENT


RANGPO, August 28: At least seven persons were seriously injured when a Tata Sumo with 13 people collided at GREF Dara area on the Bengal side of Rangpo at around 9 pm yesterday.
The vehicle bearing number SK-04-7308 was coming from Siliguri to Gangtok via Lava
All the 7 passengers were rushed to the nearby Rangpo Primary Health Centre. They were later referred to the Central Referral Hospital, Tadong.
The injured persons, Ranjan, Barun Sarkar, Anand Biswakarma, Hardas, B Sankar are from North District while Naina Kala Bania is a panchayat member from Temi Tarku, South Sikkim.
