The "ACT" Seeks Personal Intervention of Sikkim CM Dr. Pawan Chamling


Gangtok: The affected Citizens of Teesta (ACT) Chief coordinator Tseten Lepcha has organised a press conference to welcome the offer of Chief Secretary N.D. Chingapa for talks.It may be recalled that Chief Secretary ,who heads the high powered committed authorized by Sikkim CM Dr. Chamling , in a recent letter of his has invited ACT once again "to state their case before the appropriate authorities" and also sought a personal intervention of Sikkim Chief Minister Dr. Pawan Chamling to solve deadlocked Dzongu hydel issue .It may be recalled Sikkim CM on occasion of Tendong Lha Rum Faat assured the same if talks on the issue of Dzongu and other concerns of ACT are put across through dialogue to the government and The state government assured that all genuine concerns would be addressed and if required a personal intervention shall be made by none other than Dr. Chamling on the matter after talks begins with ACT.
