Bagdogra Airport is all set to boast of the first-of-its- kind tea bar in the country.The Golden Tips Tea Bar, which will be inaugurated by the additional secretary, Union ministry of commerce, Mr OP Arya at the Bagdogra airport lounge here tomorrow, will offer air travellers in the region the unique opportunity to relax and enjoy some of the finest varieties of Darjeeling tea. The managing director of Golden Tips, Mr Madhav Sarda, said here today that air travellers could select from a menu consisting of 40 top varieties of tea and tea mock tails, including the connoisseurs' craze ~ the passion-fruit mock tail ~ at rates ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 90 per cup. Mr Sarda revealed that the Tips Tea Bar at Park Street Metro station in Kolkata ~ the country's first tea bar at an underground railway station~ will soon be opened and the company was also planning to start tea bars and tea boutiques in all major metros in the country. nSNS
