A woman injures another woman for marrying her husband
A woman injured another woman by sharp weapon at North Regu, East Sikkim. Tilak Gurung had married Balkumari Gurung seven years ago and had two sons. Three months ago, Tilak got married to another woman Anjali after they had fallen in love. When the first wife Balkumari was moving towards forest for picking up the grasses for domesticated animals, coincidently, Anjali was too passing through the same road and met face to face. It is reported they involved in altercation and under such a circumstance, Balkumari injured her by sharp knife in her hand and foot. Tilak, the one heart of the two women, reported incident to the police and police detained Balkumari registered the case under 324 under IPC while Anjana was hospitalized.
