Sikkim Governor visits Vaishnodevi shrine


Jammu, April 26 (PTI): The Governor of Sikkim V Rama Rao, on Wednesday, paid obeisance at the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishnodevi located in the Trikuta hills of Reasi district in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
Rao, who reached Katra along with his family yesterday, took a chopper flight to Sanjichat helipad in Trikuta hills and had darshan at the shrine this morning, they said, adding the governor returned back to Katra.
He is scheduled to address a conference at Jammu University later this afternoon, before leaving for New Delhi, sources said.
