Amid thunderous applause and great enthusiasm, Shri Sathya Sai Sarva Dharma kendra was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Dr.Pawan Chamling at Daramdin, West Sikkim. Tens and thousands dignitaries and Sai devotees thronged there from all the districts of the State.Shri Sathya Sai Sarva Dharma kendra was constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 5 crore, in a half hectare land donated by three families namely Mr. Kedar Nath Rijal and family, Mr. Mohan Pradhan and family and Mr. Ilam Subba and family.The fund is collected by the devotees.Shri Sathya Sai Sarva Dharma kendra is one of the biggest spiritual centre and unity of all religions not only in Sikkim but in entire North East and it is expected that would be a centre of international pilgrimage. The centre was started for construction some years ago and the architectural design by Kiran Rasaily was blessed by Shri Satya Sai Baba at Puttaparthy saying that ye Benega ( This will be constructed).
